SAFER RAVE
– editorial design & web
The aim of the bachelor thesis "SAFER RAVE" is to provide organisers of illegal raves with comprehensive knowledge about their culture and safety. At the centre of the thesis are two books and an extensive collection of material. Together they form a valuable resource for all those who want to organise raves not only as places to party, but also as safe spaces for everyone.
In addition to the concept, my tasks included layout, design and illustration as well as the realisation of the situation book, the collection of materials and the website.

safety on illegal raves
"SAFER RAVE" provides valuable information and practical tools for planning and organising safe raves. The comprehensive collection is aimed at both event organisers and awareness teams who play a crucial role in the safety and organisation of raves. For the first time, this series of books provides a comprehensive and easy-to-understand guide specifically for the rave community. Combining practical and historical knowledge with creative event design tools, "SAFER RAVE" is a unique resource for rave organisers.
The Books
The first book, "Rave & Awareness", supports organisers in the planning phase of their event. It explains the background of the culture and provides basic knowledge about awareness. This teaches organisers how to better consider the needs and safety of participants, while the second book, the "Situation Book", helps organisers and awareness teams to deal with various problem situations. It offers practical solutions for medical emergencies, conflicts and weather-related challenges.
Material Collection
The c ollectionprovides a poster builder, information signs and posters to help event organisers design their communication materials. In the poster builder, you can choose from various text modules and design elements to create appealing and informative posters. The modular system thus offers the creative freedom that is important to many rave organisers.
