Camouflage

– exhibition design
In collaboration with the Natural History Museum in Stuttgart, we are bringing the topic of camouflage of the leaf-tailed gecko in the rainforests of Madagascar closer to the exhibition context. In the Digital Exhibits course, our task was to develop an exhibition concept as a prototype and to make the topic of camouflage understandable and tangible.

The complete framework of the exhibitor consists of square timber profiles. The choice of a natural material was deliberate in order to create a link to nature. The exhibitor has an open design and the information posters are attached to the wooden slats with transparent nylon threads to convey a certain lightness and give off a uniform image.
